Roman Fitzmartin
Chief Revenue Officer

Roman has held multiple leadership roles in last mile logistics since joining Atlantic Central Logistics in 2012. After XPO Last Mile’s acquisition of Atlantic in 2014, Roman has been leading sales teams and commercial customer relationships as a VP of Client Solutions at XPO Last Mile and the Chief Revenue Officer at Supreme Home Delivery.

Rob Humes
Chief Strategy Officer

Rob started in the transportation business as a local NYC air freight expedited cartage agent in the late 90’s after graduating from Penn State. From 2000 till 2008, Rob grew the local trucking business into Atlantic Central Logistics, the largest tristate area agent and also leveraged the client base to develop multiple Industrial real estate properties in Port Newark, JFK, EWR and SWF airports. 

As the ecommerce boom started to ramp in 2008, Rob and his partners pivoted to become the largest national postal injection carrier for FedEx and Amazon. With hyper growth and fortune 500 clients, Rob was acquired by XPO Last Mile in 2014 and remained as EVP growing the business 5-fold in the following 3 years. Rob ‘s Most recent venture as CEO of Supreme Home Delivery started in 2020 and grew from a small 2 location local TX courier into a 26 location, multi-client furniture and appliance home delivery leader.

Wendy Mills
Chief Experience Officer

Wendy Mills was previously the CEO of Retail Direct. Before being named CEO in April 2021, Wendy was the Executive Vice President and responsible for national operations and customer care support centers. Wendy has played a key role in the growth of Retail Direct since 2019 with a focus on customer relationships, operations, and the company operating platform design.

Prior to joining Retail Direct, Wendy served as SVP, Client Solutions and Customer Care at XPO Logistics for 14 years and was responsible for building and maintaining significant growth within her primary national clients.

Previous to her work at XPO Logistics, Wendy held positions at Sears Logistic Service in various positions over 15 years, as well as other regional retailers in the North and Southeast markets. Wendy’s experience on both the provider and retailer side of the business is unique in the space and has helped her build long-lasting and strategic relationships with some of the biggest retailers in the country.

Nader Sohram
Chief Accounting Officer

Nader Sohrab is an accomplished financial professional with significant experience in operational management and core financial processes. Mr. Sohrab began his career in government auditing and rose through the ranks to become chief financial officer at Atlanta Public Schools. As Chief Financial Officer, Nader Sohrab was responsible for all the financial functions, including accounting, treasury, procurement, and annual budgets of over two billion dollars. He was also instrumental in developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure effective and efficient use of resources.

After serving in government for over 30 years, Mr. Sohrab transitioned to the private sector and began consulting for various companies. During this time, he provided financial advice and expertise to clients in a range of industries.

His auditing and operational experience provided clients with knowledge of how to manage risks and create operational efficiencies.

Mr. Sohrab joined Retail Direct LLC in 2019, where he is responsible for the overall financial health of the organization. Under his leadership Retail Direct saw significant growth. Mr. Sohrab’s success in both public and private sectors is a testament to his expertise in financial management and his dedication to helping organizations achieve their goals. He is highly regarded for his analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to develop and implement effective and efficient financial strategies.

Mr. Sohrab is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Master of Business Administration from the Kennesaw State University. He also received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Kennesaw State University.

Lee Goldthwaite
Chief Operations Officer

Residing in Scottsdale AZ, Lee comes to PDP with 35 years of experience in Logistics and Transportation. Prior to entering the 3PL provider network, Lee worked for retailers Levitz Furniture and Best Buy Co. for a combined 13 years setting up last mile operations nationwide.

In 2001 Lee Joined XPO Logistics (formally 3PDelivery) as a regional manager. Over the course of a 20-year career at XPO, Lee also served as Senior Vice President and Executive Vice President of Last Mile Operations and helped achieve a growth trajectory from $13M in 2001 to $1B in 2021.

Charles "Bud" Workmon
President

Bud Workmon is a 40 year veteran of the last mile logistics space. Bud started his career as owner of Bulldog Movers in Atlanta, Ga. He took Bulldog from the largest local moving company in the state of Georgia to a national provider of last mile services for The Home Depot, JC Penny and other regional retailers. 

Bud subsequently sold his business in 1999 to Cardinal Logistics where he oversaw the growth of Cardinals last mile business. After leaving Cardinal in 2006 Bud joined Karl and Randy Meyer as President of 3PD. During his tenure, 3PD grew to become the largest provider of last mile heavy good services in North America. 3PD was subsequently acquired by XPO Logistics in 2013. 

Bud remained as President of XPO Last Mile through 2016. Bud has spent the past few consulting and mentoring leaders in the home delivery space.

Randy Meyer
Chief Financial Officer

Randy Meyer was the co-founder and CFO of 3PD from 2001 to 2013, which he and his team grew to become North America’s largest heavy goods, last mile delivery and installation business. While at 3PD he and his team led all financial integrations of three strategic acquisitions and one technology platform, as well as establishing KPI’s for operations.

3PD was acquired by XPO Logistics in 2013. Following the sale, Mr. Meyer served as the CFO of XPO Last Mile from 2013 to 2016, where he ran the Last Mile finance team and was a senior member of the deal team for all three Last Mile acquisitions. During his time at XPO Last Mile, he and his team more than doubled the size of the business through organic growth, acquisitions and technology developments.

Before co-founding 3PD in 2001, Mr. Meyer was a market manager for Rhodes Murphy and worked on software development for its subsidiary TaxSlayer. Mr. Meyer holds a bachelor’s degree from Augusta State University.

Karl Meyer
Chairman/CEO

Karl Meyer was the founder and CEO of 3PD, which he and his team grew to become North America’s largest heavy goods, last mile delivery and installation business from 2001 to 2013. Following the sale of 3PD to XPO Logistics in 2013, Mr. Meyer served as the CEO of XPO Last Mile. From 2013 to 2016, he and his team more than doubled the size of the business making XPO Last Mile the clear leader in the last mile space. 

Before founding 3PD, Mr. Meyer ran the delivery business for The Home Depot. There he first recognized the market need for technology-enabled logistics to better provide high levels of customer service for goods being installed inside customers’ homes. 

He led the innovation of technology in the last mile space over the last 25 years and holds several process patents. Mr. Meyer also held positions at Lockheed Martin and served as an aviation crew chief in the U.S. Army. Mr. Meyer holds a degree in Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle University, Cum Laude.
